Downloading product updates
In ClientCenter, Build Delivery provides a secure system for receiving product updates. When you log into ClientCenter and access the Build Delivery option, you will be able to download the product updates for the Trimble Transportation applications that have been assigned to you.
Note: If, while using ClientCenter Build Delivery, you experience problems accessing files, please contact your Support representative.
To download your assigned application updates and files from ClientCenter Build Delivery:
1. Go to Menu > Build Delivery > Downloads.
The Downloads page opens.
2. Use the Line of Business, Product, and Build lists to find the product and build that you want to download.
a. From the Line of Business list, select a product line.
b. From the Product list, select the product that you want to upgrade.
c. From the Build list, select the build(s) you want to see. You can scroll through the builds or you can limit the builds displayed by selecting:
[Newest Build]
Only the last build is listed
[All Builds]
Every build is listed. Depending on how may rows you have specified you want to see, you may need to use the paging tool at the bottom of the grid to scroll through all the pages to find the release you want.
Notes:
These notes apply to all options other than [NewestBuild].
If you know the approximate date the release was made available, you can click ReleaseDate in the grid header to sort the list by the date.
In your user profile, you can also set the Downloads page to open with a default entry in the Build field. For more information, see Updating your user profile.
[Last 5 Builds], [Last 10 Builds], or [Last 20 Builds]
Selecting any of the [Last *Builds] options returns a list of releases in descending order, based on the build name.
If no downloads match the selected product and build, the "No records to display" message is displayed.
3. From the Downloads list, click the product build that you want to download.
4. Click View Details.
The Software Delivery Files page opens.
The top of the Software Delivery Files page displays notes about the selected build. This information should not be confused with release notes provided with application releases. Release notes describe the application's new features and enhancements.
If you select the wrong build, click
Return to Release List.
You may have to scroll to see all of the release information.
5. Select the I have reviewed the notes above provided by Trimble for this download check box.
You cannot download files unless you select this check box. This confirms that you have read the release notes and are aware of new product features and potential changes that may result from upgrading the software. If you repeat the download process later for the same release, you are not required to select the check box again.
6. In the Available Files section, click the Download link for the file you want to download.
Note: What happens after you click Download depends on your browser configuration. Follow any on-screen prompts to save, download, and/or run the application.
Any files already downloaded are shown in the Previously Downloaded Files section.
