Updating multiple point-to-point billing rates at one time
You use the Tariff Mass Table Rate Change window to edit multiple lane-based rates schedules at one time. The window works only with rate schedules that:
Have restrictions set in the Index tab's Bill To and Fgt Class (commodity) fields.
Note: You must use Commodity Class 1 to categorize your commodities. Commodity classes set up in Commodity Class 2 are not available as restrictions on the Index tab.
Use a point-to-point rate table. Columns/rows must be based on a combination of Origin City or Origin Company and Destination City or Destination Company.
The Tariff Mass Table Rate Change window differs from the Group Adjust Schedule Rates window in these ways:
To retrieve rate schedules having point-to-point matrices of rates, you must specify the Bill To for which rate changes are needed.
For each rate schedule that matches the Bill To restriction, the system lists all origin-to-destination rates.
You can view up to five commodity classes for the retrieved rates. For the first commodity class displayed, you can retrieve secondary rates having the same origin/destination configuration as the retrieved primary rates.
Note: In addition to having the same origin/destination set up as the primary rates, secondary rates must use a charge type you identify.
You can change each individual origin-to-destination rate on each rate schedule separately from the others.
You can add rows and/or columns to the retrieved rates and enter new amounts in the matrices.
Rate schedules are not copied. Existing rate schedules are updated.
You can export the retrieved data to Microsoft Excel.
