Rate header
The rate header consists of the five lines of data located directly under the tab area of the screen. The header provides a general definition of the rate.
Section | Description |

A | Unique system-generated numeric ID assigned to the rate when it is first saved. |
B | Two user-defined alphanumeric IDs. |
C | Free-form description of the rate. |
D | Whether the rate is determined by a single per-unit dollar amount, or a rate table (i.e., matrix of dollar amounts). |
E | Minimum quantity and minimum charge. |
Charge type, which determines how the charge is calculated. |
