Setting up a rate header

The rate header consists of data fields located in the upper portion of the Edit Billing Rate Schedule Folder. The header provides a general definition of the rate, which includes:

 A unique system-generated numeric ID assigned when the rate is first saved.

 Two user-defined alphanumeric IDs.

 A free-form description of the rate.

 The charge type to be used for the rate.

 Whether the rate is determined by a single per-unit dollar amount or a rate table.

 Minimum and/or maximum charge quantity.

 Minimum and/or maximum charge amount.
