Setting up a rate header

The rate header consists of five lines of data fields located directly under the tab area of the Edit Settlement Rate Schedule Folder. The header provides a general definition of the rate, which includes:

 A unique system-generated numeric ID assigned when the rate is first saved.

 Two user-defined alphanumeric IDs.

 A free-form description of the rate.

 The pay type to be used for the rate.

 Whether the rate is determined by a single per-unit dollar amount or a rate table.

 Minimum quantity and/or minimum pay information.

 Maximum quantity and/or maximum pay information (click the More button to access).

 The option to reduce the revenue used to calculate percent of revenue pay.

 The option to specify an override description to display on line items based on this rate.

 The option to specify an override rate.

 The option to specify that the rate applies only for a specific resource type.
