2025 Release Notes
Oct. 13, 2025
New Features
Traffic detour events now identified in child route data
Child route data now identifies when a re-route was caused by the driver accepting a traffic detour, which provides deeper insight into the cause of a re-route. When this occurs, an Accepted Traffic Detour badge is displayed with the modified route information.

Planned and actual toll costs displayed in Route Details
Planned and actual toll costs are now displayed directly in the Route Details card, allowing for easier comparison with the route map and driver coaching.

Enhanced Features
New help site for RouteReporter
RouteReporter now has its own dedicated help site, providing comprehensive documentation to assist users. The new site includes a user guide, release notes, troubleshooting articles, and links to related help sites for CoPilot and other Trimble Transportation products.

Removed Feature
All toll-related information is now hidden for users in regions outside of North America. This is to prevent displaying potentially inaccurate toll calculations in regions where tolls depend on multiple factors such as trailer configuration. The change affects the Dashboard, Reports, and Route Compliance sections, as well as Exports.
Bug Fixes
-
Fixed an issue where some completed routes were incorrectly displayed with an "In Progress" status in the UI.
-
Resolved a console error that occurred when clicking on a restriction icon on the map; restriction details now display correctly.

Enhanced Features
Modified routes now display in the Route Compliance tab
The Route Compliance tab now includes modified routes, allowing you to see all routes taken by a vehicle, including any secondary routes diverting from the primary or planned route. This feature was previously referred to as "Child Routes" and is now simply called "Modified Routes." Common examples of modified routes are fuel stops, traffic detours, and service areas.

Enhanced Features
View more information about road closures
RouteReporter now identifies when a traffic detour was caused by a road closure. The event is displayed as Traffic Detour (Closure). The driver response and time saved will not be available for these events. Closures are displayed with two icons:
-
The location where CoPilot issued the closure alert.

-
The Start and End location of the actual closure.

Enhanced Features
Open route details in a separate tab when viewing reports
The Reports tab now opens trip information in a new browser tab. This allows users to keep their original query open and avoids the need to re-run it when navigating between trips.

-
Route Line Display: Fixed an issue where route lines would occasionally fail to display when accessing a route directly via permalink.
-
Permalink Search Results: Fixed a bug where search results accessed via permalink would sometimes not match expected results.
-
Toll Details in Reports: Fixed an issue where toll details were not appearing for some trips in the Reports section.
-
Azure Pagination: Fixed an issue for Azure customers where the total page count in the footer would persist incorrectly across multiple route search queries.
-
Driver Group Filtering: Fixed an issue where driver routes would appear in a query even if the driver was not in the selected driver group.
-
"In Progress" Route Status: Fixed an issue where some routes would incorrectly remain "In Progress" after completion or cancellation.
-
Exported Report Notifications: Fixed an issue where email notifications for exported reports without an attached file would not appear in the exports tab.
