Finding a specific index for a rate with multiple indexes
If you have multiple indexes for a rate schedule, you can do any of the following to find a specific index:
Use the vertical scroll bar on the right side of the index portion of the Edit Settlement Rate Schedule Folder.
Position the cursor in an index field. Press PAGE DOWN to move the next index, or press PAGE UP to move to the previous index.
Use the Index in Grid tab.
Use the Find Index feature to set restrictions that match the desired index.
Using the Index in Grid tab
The Index in Grid tab is shown under the rate header and to the right of the Table tab. To view the restriction set for each of the indexes defined for the rate, click on the Index in Grid tab.
The index information is displayed in a grid format. The columns correspond to the index restriction fields. You can use the scroll bar at the bottom of the window to view columns beyond those currently shown. It is easy to choose an index for viewing in the normal index view from the Index in Grid list.
Highlight the index you want to view. When you click on the Index tab, the index you had highlighted is the one displayed.
Using the Find Index command
You can use the Find Indexes window to specify rate restrictions that will help you find the desired index quickly.
1. To access the Find Indexes window, click the Find Rate findindexicon icon in the sheet toolbar, or select Edit > Find Index.
2. Enter the desired restriction criteria.
findindex
Note: All restriction fields are not available in the Find Indexes window.
3. Click the Find button in the upper right corner of the window.
The system displays the first index that most closely matches the restrictions you specified as your search criteria.
