Setting up a hub-based charge type
Shown here is an example of how a hub-based charge type can be set up:
Entries must be made in these fields:
Field | Definition |

Item Code | Unique 1 – 6 character alphanumeric code assigned to the charge type. |
Description | When the charge type is used on an invoice, the text entered here prints on the invoice. |
Basis | Determines how the charge type will be used. Select Shipment to indicate that the charge type will be used for line haul charges. Note: Hub-based accessorials are not supported. |
Charge Units | Select Miles. |
Unit Basis | Select Dist (Hub). |
Rate Unit | Select $/Mile. |
Make entries in any of the remaining fields as needed.
