Creating a minimum charge or quantity for an entire rate schedule
On the rate header, two fields allow you to create a minimum charge or quantity for a primary or accessorial rate:
Min Chg field
When the calculated charge is less than the minimum dollar value recorded in the Min Chg field, the system creates an invoice detail with the flat rate minimum.
Min Qty field
When the calculated charge is based on a quantity that is less than the minimum value entered in the Min Qty field, the system creates an invoice detail that consists of the minimum quantity multiplied by the rate.
