Setting up a pay type based on event
Setup of an event-based pay type is illustrated here.
These fields require entries:
Field | Definition |

Item Code | Unique alphanumeric ID assigned to the pay type. |
Description | Text that identifies the type of pay |
Basis | If the pay type is to be used for line haul pay, select Trip Segment. If it is to be used for accessorial pay, select Ancillary. |
Unit basis | Select Event. |
Unit | Select Event. |
Rate Unit | Select $/Event. |
