Setting up rates for multiple event types
The following illustration shows how you would set up a pay rate if both these conditions are true:
The rate schedule is for multiple event types
Each event type has a specific rate.
At minimum, you must make entries in these fields on the rate header and index:
Field
Definition
Pay Type
Select the event-based pay type.
Rows
Select Event Type.
Event
Do not select an event type here.
Note: If you make a selection in error, click Reset (to the left of the field) to reset the field to UNKNOWN.
The rate table would be set up as shown here.
In each row, specify an event type. In the cell to the right, record the per-instance rate that is to be applied for that event type.
For the rate table shown above, rates will be applied as follows:
A rate of $20 will be multiplied by the number of times a Live Load event is used on a trip segment.
A rate of $25 will be multiplied by the number of times a Live Unload event is used on a trip segment.
Note: The Event Type selection has not been programmed to work with other Row/Column selections.
