Setting up your system to send e-mail using SMTP

LTL Operations provides the ability to send e-mail using SMTP. To use e-mail, you must set up the following:

  • An e-mail address in the user profile of each user sending e-mail in LTL Operations. For more information on configuring user profiles, see "Understanding the Edit User Profiles window" in Adding, editing, and deleting user profiles in the TMWSuite System Administration online help

  • The SmtpEmailer General Info Table setting
