The Modification History for places and sites has been improved to respect parent/child account relationships. When a user in a child account views a place, or a site, the system now queries the parent account to retrieve and display the full history.

Improved route path prediction for sites

The Route Path Prediction feature was enhanced to ensure that when viewing an entry gate, only entry predictions are shown, and vice-versa for exit gates.

New Break Ok? field for custom places

This feature is available in CoPilot 11.2.0.930 or later for enterprise customers who can set configuration options in CoPilot

A new Break Ok? field in a custom place’s Details lets you control whether drivers can select the place as a break location in CoPilot 11 using the Break in Motion feature. To edit it, select the pencil icon on the place’s Details screen and choose:

  • Green check: break allowed at this place

  • Red X: break not allowed

  • Blue reset: clear the setting and leave the choice to the driver

Predict how a route will approach a Site

A new Routing Predictions feature allows you to view how a route might approach and exit a Site. Approaches and exits are displayed from eight directions and can be modified based on a distance (up to 10 miles) from a Site, a Vehicle Routing Profile, and a specific Gate. (Select image to enlarge)

Coordinates for Places and Sites now match

When the lat/long coordinates for a Place are updated, the Site’s coordinates are updated to the same value. This helps ensure that coordinates are the same and do not cause an issue of returning a different Site in case of overlapping Places/Sites.

A new label is displayed to show when a place is Permanently Closed or Temporarily Closed. That status is also returned when using the Places API to retrieve information.

ContentTools now displays the Modification History for Route Modifiers. Any new Modifiers or any updates to existing Modifiers are displayed in the history. This includes details like created on/by, modified on/by, and attributes that were modified.

Similar to Route Modifiers, you can view the Modification History for Gate Paths that you add to public Verified Places.
