Controlling the tabbing sequence

Changing the tabbing order
Assigning a keyboard shortcut to a field
Removing a field from the tabbing order
Tabbing sequence is the path that the cursor takes as you press the TAB key to move the cursor from field to field. The system default for the tabbing sequence on a window may not suit your needs, especially if you have moved items or hidden some from view.
Notes:
1. The system does not warn you if you assign the same number to multiple objects. If you save a layout like this, the cursor will travel a left-to-right path from the first object with the number to the next object with the same number.
2. Each panel of the window has its own sequence. Do not jump from one panel to another during sequencing.
3. The tabbing sequence described in these procedures addresses where, in the window's tabbing order, a date/time field itself will fall. Two settings in your TTS50 determine how tabbing occurs within date/time fields on a window. See [Misc]DatetimeEditMode and [Misc]DateTimeTabInteraction.
