PC*Miler AS/400: How do you delete temporary data queues?

If your PC*Miler for the AS/400 is not behaving correctly, this could be due to an inordinate number of temporary or orphaned data queues. We recommend deleting these unused queues.

  • In the Command Line, do a WRKOBJPDM<space>ALKWIN (Or different library name if not using the Default.)

  • Scroll using the Page Up and Page Down keys. (The temporary data queues begin with a Q, e.g.. Q43EK74.)

  • Enter a "4" next to each queue that you want to delete and then select the "Enter" key.
