Quotes tab

The Quotes sub tab displays for companies with a CRM Type other than UNKNOWN. It only applies to Bill To and Parent companies. When you click on it, CRMRight automatically lists rate quotes, i.e. rate schedules, which have the Bill To or parent as an index restriction. By default, CRMRight lists all rates that are active for the current date.

This window has many of the same fields as the Billing Rate Schedule Folder in the Rate Schedules application. Although the user interface is different, the record you see here is the same in both applications. If needed, you can make changes. You can use the window to create new rate quotes, look up quotes, and create orders from quotes.

Click on the Create Quote button

in the lower right of the Quotes tab. The Quote Details window is displayed. When a new quote (rate schedule) is entered here, it can be used to rate orders in any TMWSuite application that supports automatic calculation of charges. For details, see Creating quotes.

Tabs to the right of the quote retrieval grid allow you set restrictions to search for quotes with specific index entries. Most of the fields on these tabs are the same as those in the index area of the Edit Billing Rate Schedule window. When you do a search, CRMRight limits the quotes it retrieves to those that have index restrictions that match the entries you make here.

The General tab identifies the charge type, currency, and effective dates for the rate quote. It also provides restriction fields for the lane (origin/destination) and mileage values.	The Rev/Trip Type tab provides restriction fields for RevType1 – 4 (order revenue classifications) and LghType1 – 4 (trip segment classifications).
The Equipment tab provides restriction fields for TrlType1 – 4 (trailer classifications).	The Ranges tab provides restriction fields for weight, count, volume, and distance minimums and maximums.

If a rate quote has an origin and destination as index restrictions, you can create an order from it. Click the Create Quote button

in the lower right of the screen. CRMRight displays the Order from Quote window. When you click Create, CRMRight creates a new order with an Available status and displays information about it in the lower part of the window.
