Making a new layout from an existing user-defined layout
A user-defined layout may serve as the basis for subsequent user-defined layouts. Use this procedure to use an existing layout as the model for a new one.
1. Load the layout from which you want to model the new layout.
2. Make changes as needed.
• Apply security to fields.
• Change a field's look or position.
• Control the tabbing sequence.
• Customize detail tabs.
3. When you are ready:
• Save the window layout
• Assign the layout to users or groups
