Data Warehouse Report Builder

DW Security page changes (WE-217101)

Now, admin users have the option to Select All in these DWSecurity page tabs:

  • Subject Areas

  • Dimensions

  • Attributes

  • Facts

Map opacity adjusted (WE-218372)

Maps display shape areas at 50% transparency. This has been adjusted for all map types.

ToolTip added to Radial Gauge chart type (WE-218422)

When creating a Radial chart, a new ToolTip has been added to the Radial Gauge chart type. It is displayed in these pages:

  • DWExplorer

  • DWViewer

  • Dashboard Builder

  • Dashboard Viewer

Resolved issues

Data Warehouse Report Builder

  • WE-218613

    Loading attributes and facts tab in the DWSecurity Page would produce a TypeError if any property 'data' was undefined. The error occurred in the DWSecurity page when loading values from these tabs:

    • Subject Areas

    • Dimensions

    • Attributes

    • Facts

  • WE-221338

    Adding multiple star facts to reports in the Data Warehouse Explorer Report page, the report could not run and caused an error.

  • WE-222702

    When adding calculated facts to reports, a null value for the input parameter caused an error.

Enhancements

Data Warehouse Dashboard Builder

Dashboard Builder allows writeable role assignments (WE-217219)

Now, users can add writeable roles when adding reports from the Import/Export page the same as they can on the Data Warehouse Explorer designer page.

Data Warehouse Dashboard Designer

Dashboard Designer allows writeable role assignments (WE-217218)

Now, users can add writeable roles when adding reports from the Import/Export page the same as they can on the Data Warehouse Explorer designer page.

Data Warehouse Report Builder

Report Builder allows writeable role assignments (WE-217217)

Now, users can add writeable roles when adding reports from the Import/Export page the same as they can on the Data Warehouse Explorer designer page.

Allow multiple users to be owner of one report (WE-211820)

Now, report owners can designate other users as additional owners of a report. This gives the other users the same editing rights as the original owner.

You can assign Viewer and/or Owner rights. Owner rights grant full view and modify control over the report.

Filtering Columns

Enhanced the Filter icon in the Report Builder (WE-216459)

Now, when a filter is applied, the system highlights the column’s filter icon. This enhancement was added to the following windows:

  • Data Warehouse Explorer

  • Data Warehouse Viewer

  • Dashboard Builder

  • Dashboard Viewer

  • Integrated Report Viewer

Resolved issues

Exporting Reports

WE-217355

In the Dashboard Admin under the Export and Import page, users will now see an appropriate error message if the reports fail to import or export.

Data Warehouse Report Builder charts

WE-216862

Resolved an issue in the Data Warehouse Report builder to show the XAxis label on the following charts:

  • Bar chart

  • Bar (stacked) chart

  • Column chart

  • Column (stacked) chart

  • Line chart

  • Line (Area) chart

Data Warehouse Report Builder

  • WE-211559

    When a Calculation Fact is applied to the report, the Cross-Tab functionality will run successfully. Previously, the Calculation Fact would have been visible and prevented the report from running.

  • WE-216556

    Using Apply Quick Filter causes chart drill down issues in Data Warehouse Viewer and Dashboard Builder.

    User can view the chart drill down. The chart drill down breadcrumb links are displayed as expected.

  • WE-216665

    Date Attribute fields fixed to display only the Date instead of a full timestamp field.

  • WE-216933

    Data Warehouse Explorer Service is not able to use Service1 call. The error is resolved and all services are shown. You can navigate the links without issues.

  • WE-217215

    Data Warehouse Explorer’s Report Import/Export page lists reports that are viewable only by the Administrator role. The page now lists all the reports as expected. Users who do not have the Administrator role can export, import, delete, and edit a report.

  • WE-217860

    Error present when trying to run a report with modified metadata. You can edit Metadata as a Data Warehouse administrator, then go to Data Warehouse Explorer and create a report with the modified metadata. As expected, the report will run successfully without errors.

  • WE-218073

    Shape labels are aligned and displayed in the middle of states as expected.

Data Warehouse Dashboard Builder

  • WE-217216

    Data Warehouse Dashboard Builder’s Report Import/Export page lists reports that are viewable only by the Administrator role. The page now lists all the reports as expected. Roles that did not have the Dashboard Admin > Export and Import rights did not have access to the Dashboard Export and Import page.

  • WE-218072

    ToolTips on shape maps do not function in dashboards.

    Enable 'Pop ups' in the browser settings. User now has the ability to create map reports of Map Type 'Shape Area Map' and use Shape Attribute - 'State/Region/Area/Market ' Shape. In Data Warehouse Explorer and Data Warehouse Viewer pages, users can view the on-click ToolTips without any issues. As expected, in the Dashboard Builder and Dashboard Viewer pages, users can view the on click tool tip pop ups without any issues.Data Warehouse Explorer

  • WE-216536

    Now, users can publish reports without being required to choose a Role.

WE-216950

When applied, Quick Filters will filter through all levels of the report.
