Optimizing shifts

You can use this shift optimization process for both the Planning Worksheet and Card Planner in Fuel Dispatch.

  1. Open the Planning Worksheet or Card Planner in Fuel Dispatch:

    • Go to Application > Planning Worksheet, or

    • Go to Application > Card Planner.

  2. From the Trips list, select a trip category.

  3. From the Power list, select a power board.

  4. In the Date field, enter or select a date.

  5. Click Refresh to display the matching orders.

  6. Click Optimize.

  7. In the Request Solution window, verify the information in the Shift Date, Shift, Loads, and Power fields.

  8. To re-optimize the current pre-plans, select the Optimize Currently Planned Loads checkbox.

  9. Click Submit.

    The progress of the solution is displayed in the Scroll Solutions tab.

  10. Click the image5 Refresh icon to update the solution status.

  11. When the Status field changes to End, double-click at the left side of the transaction row to display the solution.

  12. After reviewing the solution, click image7 to pre-plan all the loads on the recommended drivers.
