Definitions for RATE VALUE fields
Fields under the RATE VALUES heading affect the rates associated with the rates.

Base Rate
Rate that corresponds to the first quantity in the range
Note: This field applies only when the Increment field is set to Flat or %. When the Increment field is set to % Range, the system removes it from view.
Increment
First field: Amount by which each rate in the range increases.
Notes:
1. The value entered can be positive or negative.
2. Ten percent is entered as 10.0000.
Second field: How increments are calculated. There are three options:
Flat
Increment is a flat amount
%
Increment is based on a percentage
% Range
Rates are generated by multiplying the range quantity by the percentage recorded in the Increment field.
Round
Visible only when the Increment field is set to % or % Range
Enter the number of decimal places to which the system should round rates. The options are 0 – 4. To limit rates to dollar values having two decimal places, leave the default of 2 in place.
