Abbreviations used in Trimble Transportation applications
You can define your own abbreviations. The business rules should provide a list of these abbreviations. The system also generates standard abbreviations. These abbreviations cannot be changed. The abbreviation lists in this section contain only the most commonly used abbreviations.
Status abbreviations
Order status abbreviations
Abbreviation | Name/Description |

Available The order is ready for dispatch. |
CAN |
Cancelled The order was canceled. |
CMP |
Complete The order was completed. |
ICO |
Cancelled Billable The order was canceled, but charges still apply. |
JOB |
Multi-order Job This order is a template for a set number of jobs. It creates orders. Note: The status must be manually set. |
MST |
Master This order is used as a template. You can create orders from it. Note: Master orders cannot be dispatched. |
PND |
Pending The order is in a pending, suspended state. It is awaiting approval before it can become available for dispatch. |
QTE |
Quote The customer made a tentative request for service, but the order is not placed. Note: This status must be set manually. |
Dispatch status abbreviations

Planned The order has assigned assets, such as driver, tractor, and trailer. |

Dispatched The order was sent to the transportation resources. |

Started The order is in progress by transportation resources. |

Reference number abbreviations
Reference numbers are attached to an order in one of three ways:

All types use the same abbreviations. This list provides commonly used reference number abbreviations. You can create user-defined reference number types, with unique abbreviations.

Event code abbreviations
Event codes correspond to the action that occurs at a stop. You can change or add event codes. Check the business rules for additional information on converting event codes from one application to another. The table below provides commonly used event codes.
