How are location search results ordered?

When you search for a location in the Routes pane, PC*Miler returns a pick list of matching locations to choose from. Starting with version 26.5.1, search results are ordered based on proximity to your current location, if known. This means that locations closer to you will appear higher in the search results list, making it easier to find relevant locations when searching for places near you.

If you prefer not to have search results ordered by proximity, you can disable this feature by turning off location services in your browser settings. When location services are disabled, search results will continue to be returned based on the best match to your search, regardless of proximity to your current location.
