How do I encrypt my DRTrack username and password?

DirectRoute lets you enable workspace.config encryption and disguise the DRTrack username and password information stored there.

The DRTrack username and password are keyed into DirectRoute under Preferences > DRTrack and allow you to download orders, routes, and truck profiles from DRTrack into DirectRoute.

Enable encryption

  1. Go to File and select Preferences to open the Preferences pane.

  2. Navigate to Routing and expand.

  3. Open the Password Protection section.

  4. Change the Enable dropdown to True.

  5. Enter the password you wish to use in the Password field.

    • This is not your DRTrack password.

  6. Click OK to save and close the Preferences window.
