Assigning a default terminal for a user

Users may have permissions for multiple terminals. However, a user is typically responsible for creating and planning orders for a particular terminal. The default terminal will automatically display in the Order Entry and Inventory Control windows.

  1. [FuelDispatch]BoardSecurity does not have to be enabled for you to use this feature.

  2. You can only set up a default terminal for a user.

  3. Although you can select a default fleet, it is informational only.

  4. Since the options listed in the default field include only those terminals to which the user has been assigned, you should have already assigned permission levels to the user.

In these samples, the user’s default terminal is set to COL (Columbus).
