Requirements

Before you begin installing TMW Operations version 2025.6, check that these requirements are met:

  • TMWSuite®
You must be using TMWSuite V. 2025.6.

  • TMW Back Office
If you are using TMW Back Office, your version of TMW Operations must be the same as your version of TMW Back Office.

  • Microsoft® .NET Framework
.NET Framework 4.6.2 or later (full package not client)

The framework must be installed on the TMW Operations server, client, and administrator systems before you install TMW Operations. If it is not present, the system displays an advisory message during the installation. Install the framework before running the application.

  • Internet Information Services (IIS) for Microsoft Windows Server®
IIS Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later

  • Microsoft SQL Server®

    • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later

Note: SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2017, SQL Server 2019, and SQL Server 2022 are certified for use with this application. Trimble Transportation recommends using the latest service pack of whichever version you use.

  • You must be logged into the system where you want to install TMW Operations, and have administrator rights for that system.
Like most applications, TMW Operations can be installed locally on a user’s system. It is also possible to install TMW Operations on a network drive. To do so, you must be logged into the system where the drive is physically located, and have administrator rights for that system.

  • SQL Server System Administrator rights are necessary.
The installation of TMW Operations includes the manual application of a SQL script to the TMWSuite database. You must have a SQL Server administrator login and password to apply it.

  • PC*Miler®
    Certified with PC*Miler v.39

  • TruETA Preplanning
You must have these Trimble Web Products and modules installed:

Enhancements

Mileage

PC*Miler 39 (TTESUITE-213303)

As of this release, PC*Miler 39 is certified to use with TMW Operations.

Route Planner

Added new fields (TTESUITE-213162, TTESUITE-213163)

We’ve expanded the customization options in the Route Planner’s Trips grid. You can now add key shipper and consignee details directly into the panel’s grid for faster and easier planning. This enhancement allows for greater visibility into the critical details of a trip segment without having to open other screens. Using the right-click Cell Designer in the Trips grid, you can now add the following fields to your custom layout:

  • Consignee: The name of the receiving party.

  • ConsigneeCityState: The city and state of the consignee.

  • Shipper: The name of the shipping party.

  • ShipperCityState: The city and state of the shipper.

Note: The information for these new fields is populated based on the first order found for the move that is associated with that specific leg of the trip.

Additonally, Estimated Revenue fields have been added to Cell Designer (RevenuePerLDMoveMile and RevenuePerTotalMoveMile) to display at the bottom of the Route Planner Trips grid. The estimated revenue calculations are based on movement, similar to the Trip Folder.

Weather Notifications

Weather Integration (TTESUITE-212768)

The Weather Notification feature provides real-time weather insights to improve trip planning and driver safety by integrating weather data. The weather data is integrated into the Planning Worksheet, Route Planner and Trip Planner.

Resolved issues

Direct Route

  • TTESUITE-212944

Resolved an issue that caused freight details (weight, count, and volume) to be cleared when a trip was updated in TMW Operations Dispatch, specifically after being processed by the DirectProcess function.

Fuel Import

  • TTESUITE-213196

Resolved an issue where the TripNumber field was unintentionally omitted from the Comdata FuelCardInquiry API response. The field has now been reinstated to ensure that complete and accurate data is returned for all fuel inquiries.

Profit and Loss tab

  • TTESUITE-213496

The Default layout is now loading as expected in the Profit and Loss tab.

Route Planner

  • TTESUITE-211603

Fixed an issue when dragging and dropping trips within the same row for the assigned assets. This was incorrectly creating deadheads between the trips.
