Requirements

Before you begin installing TMW Operations version 2025.4, check that these requirements are met:

  • TMWSuite®
You must be using TMWSuite V. 2025.4.

  • TMW Back Office
If you are using TMW Back Office, your version of TMW Operations must be the same as your version of TMW Back Office.

  • Microsoft® .NET Framework
.NET Framework 4.6.2 or later (full package not client)

The framework must be installed on the TMW Operations server, client, and administrator systems before you install TMW Operations. If it is not present, the system displays an advisory message during the installation. Install the framework before running the application.

  • Internet Information Services (IIS) for Microsoft Windows Server®
IIS Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later

  • Microsoft SQL Server®

    • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later

Note: SQL Server 2016, SQL Server 2017, SQL Server 2019, and SQL Server 2022 are certified for use with this application. Trimble Transportation recommends using the latest service pack of whichever version you use.

  • You must be logged into the system where you want to install TMW Operations, and have administrator rights for that system.
Like most applications, TMW Operations can be installed locally on a user’s system. It is also possible to install TMW Operations on a network drive. To do so, you must be logged into the system where the drive is physically located, and have administrator rights for that system.

  • SQL Server System Administrator rights are necessary.
The installation of TMW Operations includes the manual application of a SQL script to the TMWSuite database. You must have a SQL Server administrator login and password to apply it.

  • PC*Miler®
    Certified with PC*Miler v.38

  • TruETA Preplanning
You must have these Trimble Web Products and modules installed:

Enhancements

Freight Board Interface

User Authorization for Truckstop.com REST API (TTESUITE-212793)

When using Truckstop.com’s REST API, users can now self- authenticate individually with their Truckstop.com credentials through the new Vendor Authorize tab.
Note: This is required for users to post loads to Truckstop.com.

Trip Folder

Add Mileage Lookup button (TTESUITE-212511)

A Mileage Lookup button has been added in the Trip Folder. The visibility of the button is controlled by the TTS50 setting [.NetOperations]LookupMileageButtonVisible
Options (Y/N) Default = N.
The setting enables a binocular lookup button in the Trip Folder which lets you look up mileage on the spot.

Resolved issues

EDI

  • TTESUITE-211765

Fixed an issue where the system would fail to generate a 990 response when accepting a cancellation for a pending EDI tender where an unmatched company record exists.

EDI Planning Worksheet

  • TTESUITE-70544

Fixed an issue where EDI orders were not removed from the Planning Worksheet when the trading partner was not configured to send 990 responses on tender updates.

  • TTESUITE-212917

Prevent EDI decisions and processing from being made in the EDI Planning Worksheet and Stops grid when a movement is in a record locked state.

Profit and Loss

  • TTESUITE-212400

This fixes an issue when an Out of Route accessorial is processed before another mileage-based accessorial, where it inflates the mileage on the second accessorial.

Trimble Places

  • TTESUITE-212063

When a Company was created through the Trimble Places link, the company city was not set correctly using the selected place county. This happened when a city was in multiple counties. Now, it is using the correct county for the city, not just the first alphabetical county.

Trip Folder

  • TTESUITE-211398

When adding assets to a leg that had a Hook Change Trailer (HCT), using the Asset Assignment window, would give an exception error.

  • TTESUITE-211442

When creating a Service Exception from a Split trip, the assets defaulted based on assets starting on the order. New behavior will now default based on assets for the current stop. In the event that no stop is currently selected or active, defaulting will revert to assets starting on an active order.

Turnpike Doubles

  • TTESUITE-210945

Turnpike Doubles now allows for custom event codes.
