Unit Taxes tab

Selecting the Units Taxes tab takes you immediately to the Tax Exempt sub-tab for the selected unit. The sub-tab shows any tax exemptions on file for that unit.

Add a tax exemption

  1. Select Add at the bottom of the screen. This opens the Add Tax Exempt window.

  2. Select a Tax Code from the dropdown list. This is a required field. The options available in this list depend on your setup.

  3. Description is a read-only field. The program completes this field for you automatically based on the Tax Code you selected.

  4. Select one of these buttons:

    • Cancel closes the window without making changes.

    • Save & Add New saves your changes and refreshes the window so you can add another exemption.

    • OK saves your changes and closes the window.

Once you have closed the window, the page refreshes to show the new tax-exempt entries.

Delete a tax exemption

  1. Select a tax exemption row.

  2. Select Delete at the bottom of the screen. The Delete Tax Exempt window opens with the message "Are you sure you want to delete the selected item?"

  3. Select one of these buttons:

    • Cancel closes the window without making changes.

    • OK makes the deletion and closes the window.

Once you have closed the window, the page refreshes to remove the deleted row.
