TMW Go! Dispatcher Ops 2018 Release Notes

These release notes give high-level summaries of product updates and resolved issues.

If detailed user documentation exists for a feature, a link to the help topic is included.

Enhancements

General updates

New tabs for notes and directions (WE-222940, WE-222939)

Added the Notes and Directions tabs.

Subscriptions

Create the ability to get all unread notifications (WE-221296)

Create a new API end point to get all unread notifications.

Create a new data access layer in the transportation API to connect to Cloud SQL (WE-218670)

Add the necessary logic layer to connect to the notification tables in the cloud.

Add/Edit Mobile UI Screens (WE-218644)

  • Add support for push notification to load proper leg, order, trailer, tractor, carrier, driver for subscriptions.

  • Create new screen to show Notification History / Change History screen for changes summary when viewed.

  • Modify notification center screen to allow for viewing of expirations and notifications.

  • Add a new Notifications Center screen.

Add/Edit API Calls in the Transportation API to support (WE-218645)

Poller (WE-218647)

Create the ability to mark the notification as read (WE-218665)

Create a new API end point to mark the notification as being read. This will need to update the appropriate cloud tables and on premise tables.

Create Notification/Change History Page (WE-218676)

Created the Notification/Change History screen for changes summary when viewed in TMW Go! Driver or TMW Go! Dispatch.

Create the ability to view the notifications by leg (WE-218669)

Created the ability to view the notifications by leg.

Create the ability to mark the notification as archived (WE-218667)

Created a new API end point to mark the notification as being archived.

Modify Order/Asset Detail in TMW Go Application (WE-218681)

Modified Order Detail screen and Asset Detail screen to show Notification History / Change History.

Modify Leg Detail in TMW Go Applications (WE-218679)

Modified Leg Detail screen to show the notification detail when coming from a notification, and then when closed, the leg detail is visible.

Resolved issues

General

  • WE-215691 and WE-222659
    Fixed an issue where TMW Go applications would not run on Apple devices.

  • WE-218558
    The Map Overlays options should appear correctly on any device, and on any page where a map is present.

  • WE-218525
    The FAB labels on the Leg Paperwork screen should be wide enough to display Capture Document and Capture Picture. The labels should appear to the right of the page, above the circular FAB button.

  • WE-218539
    When a search result is selected, the appropriate page should be displayed for the category selected (Trip → Trip Detail, Order → Order Detail, etc). Data should be populated for the search item selected.

  • WE-222797
    When the web settings on the Permissions Manager page are set for Max $/Day and Max $/Trip, you should not be able to go over these limits when submitting driver pay advances in TMW Go Dispatch. The max amount for the trip should be identified and each prior pay advance should be added up to make sure you do not go over the limit each time you submit a pay advance.

  • WE-222819
    Fixed an issue where TMW Go Dispatch would display an error when providing a carrier with an advanced pay.
