Settings screen

Requirement: You must be a system administrator to access the Settings screen.

Use this screen to set up and configure the D2Link® application.

When you tap Settings, the Enter Password pop-up window opens. Enter the password and tap OK.

Field Description

Mobile Comm ID

Device’s unique ID, usually the device’s phone number

This number is used with TotalMail to send the driver schedules, forms, and messages.

Arrival Form ID

Default arrival form ID

Your company determines the default arrival form ID.

Send Interval

Time interval for sending/receiving messages

Time is in minutes. By default, the app sends/receives messages every two minutes.

GPS Interval

Time interval to record GPS locations

Time is in minutes. By default, the app updates GPS locations every two minutes.

GPS Read Frequency

Number of GPS reads during the GPS Interval

By default, the app records five GPS locations

Host URL

D2Link Host URL

This URL is required for D2Link devices to function correctly.

Note: Do not change this URL without consulting your Support representative.

Vehicle ID

ID associated with a vehicle for CoPilot FleetPortal integration

CoPilot will plan appropriate routes for the vehicle provided.

Partner ID

ID associated with D2Link in CoPilot FleetPortal integration

Use Address For Navigation

Toggle option that determines if the app uses the address rather than Geocode for navigation

Default is Off

Device Logging

Toggle option that determines if the app sends a log file to the host that can be used for debugging or troubleshooting

Default is Off

Debugging

Toggle option that determines if the app runs in debug mode

Default is Off

Disable D2Link

Toggle option that starts or stops D2Link functionality

Default is Off

Enable Read Receipt

Toggle option that determines if the driver is notified when their messages are read

Default is Off

Days To Keep

Number of days to keep inbox messages

Start Mode

Specifies how D2Link functions when the app is opened

Sequential Schedules

Toggle option that determines if the app uses sequential schedules

Default is Off

In Order Sequence

Toggle option that enforces completing stops in order of assignment

The driver can select which schedule to complete. Once they select that schedule, they must complete all stops on the schedule, in the correct order, before moving to another schedule.

Account ID

Trimble Maps/DRTrack or GeoTrac account ID

This field is required if you are using Trimble Maps or GeoTrac.

Expiry Date

Date/time when the app no longer functions

This field determines when the app stops working. By default, the app does not have an expiration date.

Enable Trimble Login

Toggle option that determines if the app uses the Trimble Identification (TID) feature

Default is Off

A TID login is required for certain features, such as mobile imaging.

Condense Print Format

Toggle option that removes formatting from printouts

When enabled, you can also adjust font size using the Form Printing Font Size setting.

Form Printing Font Size

Font size of print-outs when Condense Print Format is enabled
