Before upgrading your production environment, Trimble recommends that you read the system requirements and install the latest version in a test environment. If you have questions, please contact your Trimble customer representative.

Requirements

  • TMWSuite®

    You must be using TMWSuite V. 2017.17_01.0130 or later.

  • Microsoft® .NET Framework

    Install or upgrade to the latest version of the Microsoft .NET Framework on your system.

    The framework must be installed on the FuelTMS applications server, client, and administrator systems before you install FuelTMS. If it is not present, the system displays an advisory message during the installation. Install the framework before running the application.

  • Microsoft(r) SQL Server(r)

    Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or later

  • You must be logged into the system where you want to install the FuelTMS applications, and have administrator rights for that system.

    Like most applications, FuelTMS applications can be installed locally on a user’s system. It is also possible to install FuelTMS applications on a network drive. To do so, you must be logged into the system where the drive is physically located, and have administrator rights for that system.

  • SQL Server System Administrator rights are necessary.

    The installation of FuelTMS applications includes the manual application of a SQL script to the TMWSuite database. You must have a SQL Server administrator login and password to apply it.

Preliminary setup

Forecasted Tank Setup Validation (FS-200233)

A common theme with customers having issues forecasting orders for fuel sites falls back on data setup and the integrity of that data. By validating and tweaking the data, you can ensure the system generates orders that maintain deliveries that are in line with the station’s sales. Now, you can verify that tanks are set up correctly using the Forecasted Tank Setup Validation utility.

The utility’s verification features allow you to:

  • Identify items that may be out of tolerance, including pump stop, safe fill, and specific gravity

  • Assign and validate primary and secondary product attributes to tanks

  • Verify tank sales to ensure no tanks have zero Average Weekly Sales

The utility allows you to analyze data and identify issues that should be addressed. Each correction is easily made with the click of a button.

Working with outages

Enter outage window updated (FS-200191)

In previous versions, you recorded a shipper outage in the Outage/Allocation Form window. You used tabs to associate an outage with specific suppliers, products, deliveries, and equipment.

Now, you can use the Enter Outage window to record an outage. The window includes new command buttons and fields that allow you to open, define details and change an outage.

Resolved issues

  • FS-200218
    A "Telemetry Data" error is occurring when running the Forecaster Console application.

  • FS-200231
    Inventory Date / Time Validation - Issue found in 17.20 that users can alter the second (or more) inventory. The validation code put in seems to only look at the first inventory of the day and not any inventory after.

  • FS-200272
    Many orders all have the same runout date. This is causing dispatchers to send loads too soon.

  • FS-200275
    Orders are being set up for a delivery time during a restricted window. Hourly Details inside Inventory Services in the Order Forecast Review screen clearly show loads that are planned for delivery inside a restriction.
