Mobile messaging
Use the mobile messaging options to send Load Offers and messages to your drivers.
The mobile messaging options are available from the shortcut menus in all of the active trips tabs:

These are the mobile messaging options:
Menu option | Definition |

Update Dispatch |
Updates the trip to show any dispatch-related changes made to the trip. |
Load Offer |
Sends a Load Offer macro to the driver to review or accept. |
Load Offer (All) |
Sends load offers for all trips displayed through the filter. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to send a load offer for every trip. |
Load Offer (Selected) |
Only sends load offers for the selected trips. |
View Message History |
Shows any messages associated with the selected freight bill. |
Send Message |
Sends a freeform message to the mobile communication device. |
Driver Chat |
Opens the driver chat tab. The Driver Chat tab displays any chat text created by a mobile device associated with this trip. |
Driver Manifest |
Sends the manifest and pickup and delivery information for the selected trip. |
When you send a Load Offer, the system checks how many mobile devices are assigned to both the driver and the power unit on the trip. If there is more than one device, you are prompted to choose which devices to send the Load Offer. You will then be shown a Load Offer for each selected device.
When you send a Load Offer with multiple trace number fields, they are automatically added to the Load Offer in order. If there are more fields than numbers, the excess fields are left blank.
Load Offer details are recorded in the LOAD_OFFER table and are sent via the TruckMate API. You can include details about your Customs Brokerage Agent in a Load Offer. Several fields have been added from the TLORDER table to support this functionality.
