Enable Trimble Compass for your setup

Before you can use Trimble Compass, you must have a Trimble ID with Compass access.

Get a Trimble ID

There are three parts to a Trimble ID (TID):

  • The Key ID

  • The Key Secret

  • The Account Name

Your Project Manager gets the Key ID and Key Secret values from TMT Support and provides it to your Technical Services. TMT Fleet Maintenance completes the Account Name field for you once you enter the Key ID and Key Secret values.

If you are requesting a TID for the first time, make sure the Trimble Support representative knows that you want to enable Compass for TMT Fleet Maintenance. Your TID Account Name must have permission to access the Atlas service for Compass to work. Contact Trimble TMT Support by sending an email to [email protected].

TID is part of the Trimble Trust Center. For more information, see Trimble Trust Center User Guide.

Complete the Trimble ID Integration Options

This section will review the key points about setting up your TID Integration Option for Compass. For detailed information on setting up the TID integration option, see Integration options: Trimble ID.
