Use the mobile imaging feature
Requirements:
-
Your company must own the Mobile Imaging license. If not, you cannot see the mobile imaging functionality.
-
Your System administrator has enabled the Enable Trimble Login setting on your D2Link® device.
Your company determines what paperwork is required and optional. Paperwork examples: Bill of Lading, Delivery Confirmation, Wash Receipt, Trip Sheets, and so on. |
If it is available, you can use the mobile imaging feature to:
-
Take pictures, or images, of paperwork.
-
Upload paperwork pictures to your company’s image processing system.
After you take a picture of paperwork, the system:
-
Converts the image to a certain image file format.
-
Uses different icons to show you the upload status for each image.
-
Provides details about the uploaded image. For example, the date and time it was uploaded.
-
Adds information to the image. This may include the leg or order number, file type and size, and more.
Notes:
-
If your company uses Trimble Cloud Imaging, the image is linked to the leg/order number during the upload process. This gives other Trimble Transportation applications the ability to show the image.
-
If you can’t upload an image, contact your company’s system administrator.
-
This picture shows your options after taking a picture.
These icons can appear next to forms that include the paperwork image option:
-
Required paperwork: you must take a picture of this.
-
Optional paperwork: you can take a picture of this.
-
Paperwork that is currently uploading—or—waiting for a strong enough signal to upload.
-
Paperwork that was already uploaded.
