Enhancements

App functionality improvements

Improved the app update process (TTESUITE-203146)

Now, you do not need to uninstall your old version of the app before updating to a newer version. Download the new version to update your app to the latest version. The update does not affect your data. You do not need to re-activate the updated version.

Performance improvements (TTESUITE-200754, TTESUITE-200755, TTESUITE-203057)

App pages now respond faster. We also improved the overall app performance.

Usability (UX) and user interface (UI) enhancements

Before, you could scan a QR code or manually enter your D2Link Host URL to activate the app.

Now, you can choose to receive a link by email to activate the app. This is easier for some users.

Added indicators for incomplete uploads (TTESUITE-21159)

In cases of poor or no network connection, the same error appeared each time you sent a form. Now, the error appears only once. All forms save and are sent when a connection is available.

Also, you can quickly determine if files you saved are waiting to be sent using these new indicators.

  • The Missing Paperwork page shows a red icon Red icon image. by a document that is waiting to be sent.

  • Completed stops pages now show how many pictures and documents are waiting to be sent.

  • Use the new page More > Pending Uploads to see details about pictures or documents that are waiting to be sent.

Note: The Pending Uploads page also shows schedule details. Click Try Now to attempt to upload data at any time. If you do not click that button, the system tries to send data based on the Send Interval setting. The default setting is two minutes, but your system may be set differently.

Added the option to hide the Unknown Item alert (TTESUITE-202573)

You can hide the Unknown Item alert on a page if you must add several unknown items. To do this, select the new option Do not show this message again on the alert.

If you leave a page, the alert appears again.

Improved the item entry and removal speed (TTESUITE-202561, TTESUITE-202567, TTESUITE-202576)

You can now quickly scan multiple bar codes or manually enter multiple trace numbers for items of the same type on the same screen.

  • Scanned or entered trace numbers appear in the Scanned Item List.

  • A warning prevents you from accidentally scanning the same item more than once.

  • To select or clear all items in the list, click Select All or Deselect All.

  • To remove items from the list, select one or more items or click Select All and then click Delete.

  • When you finish scanning items, click Close.

  • To add or delete items, return to this form any time before you send it.

Improved the Settings options for geofencing updates (TTESUITE-203454)

A new Schedule Restrictions setting replaces these settings:

  • Sequential Schedules

  • In Order Sequence

This new setting has these options:

  • Sequential schedules

  • In order sequence

  • No restrictions

Geofencing settings update automatically, based on the option you use. You cannot change them.

Resolved issues

App functionality issues

  • TTESUITE-203441
This affected users whose carrier uses TMWSuite® and set Separate Images and Messages to Off. If you tried to send a message with a scanned bar code, it did not send. After that, no other messages would send. All messages remained in the Outbox.

  • TTESUITE-203469
On Android OS devices, when you activated the app, the Mobile Comm ID setting did not correctly record the phone number.

  • TTESUITE-203537
The arrival of a new schedule deleted completed schedules. This happened if Days of History was not zero.

  • TTESUITE- 203546
If the truck speed was not available, the app sent the wrong location data to the TMS.

  • TTESUITE- 203450
The app sent the wrong arrival and departure times in some cases.

  • TTESUITE-203697
Auto-arrival did not occur if the current geofenced stop changed.

Usability (UX) issues

General UX issues

  • TTESUITE-201726, TTESUITE-203101
The app timed out if you moved it to the back and then to the front with no action in between.

Also, instead of going to the Schedules page, a message indicated that the session expired and you must sign in again. After signing in, the message "Requires Mobile Imaging" or "Please login with Trimble" appeared.

  • TTESUITE-202993, TTESUITE-203589
On some devices, pages did not fit when you turned the device from portrait to landscape direction. Some content and buttons were not visible onscreen.

  • TTESUITE-203284
You received duplicate trip legs, sometimes with just a summary card.

  • TTESUITE-203732
After adding one item to a list using the text box, the text box did not let you enter another item.

  • TTESUITE-204052 (Added in Revision 2 of this content)
Auto-depart did not occur if a new schedule arrived after you completed the last stop but before you departed from the stop.

  • TTESUITE-204206 (Added in Revision 2 of this content)
A Delete All Schedules message sent by the dispatcher did not delete the schedules on the driver’s device.

  • TTESUITE-203286
The Arrive button sometimes did not appear after completing the first stop. You could not proceed with your schedule.

  • TTESUITE-203417
When taking a picture for a form, the Back arrow button did not work. Now, it takes you back to the form.

  • TTESUITE-203574
(TruckMate users only) On the Schedules page Pending tab, the Accept and Reject load offer buttons did not appear on the schedule summary cards.

  • TTESUITE-203598
For depart-only stops, the Depart button was always active. The app ignored your Sequential Schedules and In Order Sequence settings. You could complete stops out of sequence.

User interface (UI) issues

  • TTESUITE-21337
On iOS devices, pictures that you took for forms were rotated in the forms preview and in other places.

  • TTESUITE-201463
Options to activate the app were still on the opening screen after it was activated.

  • TTESUITE-202848
In the tabbed view of the Schedules page, the COMPLETED value did not correctly update.

  • TTESUITE-203346
An extra button appeared on the log in screen.

  • TTESUITE-203418
Check boxes "flickered" sometimes. Now, the Click to View page shows a solid check mark by each scanned freight bill.

  • TTESUITE-203753
If you changed from the icon view to the side menu view, the item counts in the menu were always zero, regardless of their correct value.

  • TTESUITE-204178 (Added in Revision 2 of this content)
When a driver completed a trip and received a new schedule, the app did not remove the entire completed trip schedule. It removed the steps but left the header for completed schedules.
