Overview of the system
What it is
TotalMail® is an electronic messaging system intended primarily for drivers and dispatchers in the trucking industry. It streamlines communication between drivers and dispatchers. It works with other Trimble products like TMWSuite® and D2link®.
The TotalMail system helps keep tractors on the road, dispatchers and drivers informed, and schedules on-path and on time.
How it is set up
Trimble experts set up TotalMail for your company.
-
They install software and databases on various computers and other devices for specific purposes.
-
They customize TotalMail forms for your company.
Who uses it
The TotalMail system is used by drivers, whose in-cab systems use for communications. It is also used by dispatchers, with other software, to complete their work. Your company’s TotalMail system administrator maintains, and can further customize, TotalMail to meet your needs.
The driver mobile apps and dispatcher desktop applications use the TotalMail system, with TMWSuite databases and your company’s mobile communications vendor, to exchange forms and text messages efficiently.
Many TotalMail features can be turned on as-needed. If you don’t see a feature described here, contact your TotalMail system administrator. |
