The Options > General window
The General options allow you to set basic parameters for TotalMail usage in your company.
These are the settings for the content pane in General folder.
How will users address mobile communication messages?
Use this box to configure the system to address messages to Driver IDs or Truck IDs.
-
If you select Driver, then the dispatcher must enter the Driver ID in the To field. For example, DRIVER1.
-
If you select Truck, then the dispatcher must enter the Truck ID in the TO filed. For example, TRUCK1.
If you use a D2Link Host with TotalMail, Trimble recommends that you set TotalMail to be driver-based. The TotalMail default is Truck, so you must change this to Driver. |
