Tractor profiles
For ACE and ACI, a tractor profile must specify basic tractor identification, plus the tractor conveyance type and ACE Compliance information.
For ACE and ACI, Conveyance type is synonymous with tractor. |
Selecting a tractor type as the ACE conveyance type
A tractor profile contains tractor type (TrcType1-4) fields. Your company can use these fields to categorize its tractors. You must specify whether eManifest obtains the equipment type description from a tractor type field or if you want to use the generic TRACTOR(SEMI) description.
If you specify a TrcType1-4 field in the ACE:TractorType
General Info Table setting, the corresponding label must contain options describing tractor conveyance types. You add these options in the System Administration application.
This illustration demonstrates a sample TrcType4 label.
You can also edit the label’s Name field. When you do, your change is applied to that field in the tractor profile. For information on setting up the options, see: Guide: System Administration | Chapter: Using the label file to customize fields |
