Set Multi-Currency features for orders

Orders in TMT Fleet Maintenance (TMT) refers to items found under the Orders menu, such as estimates, purchase orders, repair orders, and so on. For Multi-Currency, you will need to set up features for purchase orders and repair orders.

Purchase orders

When you create a purchase order (PO) with Multi-Currency Conversion Services enabled, you can select what currency the program should use to generate the PO, if it is different from the default currency of the purchasing shop.

You can change the PO currency by selecting one from the PO Currency dropdown list. If your selected currency does not match the shop currency, the program will open a notification message alerting you to the difference. Select OK to create the PO.

For more information, see Create purchase orders.

Vendor repair orders

When you create a vendor repair order (VRO) with Multi-Currency Conversion Services enabled, you can select what currency the program should use to generate the VRO, if different from the default currency of the repairing shop.

You can change the VRO currency by selecting one from the VRO Currency dropdown list. If your selected currency does not match the shop currency, the program will open a notification message alerting you to the difference. Select OK to create the VRO.

For more information, see Create repair orders.

About standard repair orders and Multi-Currency

Standard repair orders (SROs) are repair orders you make to track repairs to one of your units in one of your shops. As such, all SROs use the shop currency by default; the Multi-Currency feature isn’t needed.

For more information about the difference between SROs and VROs, see Repair orders (ROs).
