Why do I get an 'Access is denied (0x5)' or 'Feature transfer error' pop-up during installation?

These errors can occur during your PC*Miler installation if you have an AntiVirus software (i.e. Webroot) that is restricting access to the directory where you are installing PC*Miler. If you receive either of these errors, we recommend making an exception for the PC*Miler installer and also whitelisting the ALK Technologies directory and subdirectories within your AntiVirus software.
