Importing Geofences

If you created and saved geofences in a previous version of PC*Miler, you can easily import those files into the current version using the Geofences Conversion Utility.

  1. Select the Tools tab > Convert > Import Geofences.

  2. In the window that opens, navigate to the saved geofences in the installation folder of your previous PC*Miler version (usually C:\ALK Technologies\PCMILERXX\Data\ Base\save\geofences).

  3. Select the files in the “geofences” folder and click Open to copy.

  4. When the process is complete, close the dialog. The geofences should now be accessible in the current version.
