Before V. 2021.2, the system did not include the amount of the initial escrow deposit when it calculated the interest. It based the calculation only on later escrow deposits. The Compute Interest button lets you recalculate the interest on existing escrow accounts. Calculations include the initial withholding amount, when appropriate. Use this setting to have the Compute Interest button show on the Transaction tab. The tab is available in Assign Assets window. |
