Preliminary setup in TMWSuite
Before using the Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration to TMW Back Office, you must complete some preliminary setup in TMWSuite, including:
Identifying Microsoft Dynamics GP as your accounting system
In TMWSuite’s System Administration application, specify that Microsoft Dynamics GP is your accounting system. Enter GreatPlains
in the String1 field of the AccountingSystem
General Info table setting.
By default, only users who have system administrator rights can edit the Server and Database Name fields from within the application. To allow all users to edit these fields, enter Yes in the setting’s String2 field.

Identifying the server and database for Dynamics GP
Use the GreatPlains
General Info Table setting to specify the name of the server on which your Microsoft Dynamics GP database resides and the name of your default Dynamics GP database.

Enter the name of your Dynamics GP server in the String1 field.

Enter the name of your default Dynamics GP database in the String2 field.
