Choosing cell types
Multiple types of cells are available to use in Company Planner boards. Before creating a board, you need to determine which types of cells it will contain, based on the functionality you want to build into the board.
The basic cell types are Grid, Map, RouteMap, LoadInformation, ReportViewer, SQLGrid, WebBrowser, BranchTree, BrokerageAssets, and TripAudit.
The TripAudit cell is a custom cell type. Do not use it unless advised to do so by your Trimble Support representative. |
Cell types have specific events and actions. Some cells have options. The options you can set are dependent on the cell type. All cell types support Subscriptions.
For details on the options supported for specific cell types, see Setting cell options.
Grid
The Grid cell displays grid-based data. Any scroll view can be used as the source for the data in a Grid cell.
These cells use established board views to pull a set of pre-defined columns. For more information on board views, see Defining and managing board views.
