Introduction to Fuel Maintenance features
First available in TMW Operations 14.20.122
The Fuel Maintenance interface provides communication between your TMWSuite database and your fuel vendor. It allows you to track transactions your company drivers and owner/operators make using the fuel cards you assign to them. These transactions include:
-
Fuel purchases
Information from these transactions is combined with trip data to provide estimated miles. Estimated miles can be exported to TMW’s Fuel Tax Export interface, which can then export them to vendors. You can also use the Fuel Tax Export interface to format this data for fuel tax purposes. For more information on this product, contact TMW Sales.
Fuel purchases made by owner/operators can also become pay details. You can transfer them to the TMWSuite Settlements application.
-
Cash advances
A cash advance is a transaction in which a resource gets cash at a point of sale. These include fuel card advances and express cash. Information from these transactions becomes pay details that you can transfer to Settlements.
