Recording trip comments

First available in TMW Operations: 17.50

You can enter free-form comments for individual trip segments in two columns on the Planning Worksheet:

  • Lgh_Comment

  • Lgh_Trc_Comment

Both columns exist in the Available Trips grid and the Inbound Trips grid.

These columns are added as required columns to the system default Trip Scroll View (OUTSCR) and Inbound Scroll View (INBSCR) planning boards. The system automatically adds the new columns to the system default boards.

However, you must manually add these new columns to your custom boards before you can use them. Attempting to use a custom board before adding the columns will result in a Retrieve Failed error message that identifies the invalid column names: lgh_comment and lgh_trc_comment.
