Identifying your company’s contacts
When setting up your company’s Trimble Web Products web application, you will want to ensure that users know who to contact for technical support, and who in your company should be notified when new shipments are tendered.
Identifying a support contact for users
Record the e-mail address and phone number of the person to be contacted concerning eStat technical issues.
Currently, the support contact information you record is available only to the Trimble Web Products users at your company who have access to the Settings Manager page. The information does not yet display on pages that end users will see. |

Go to Menu > Configuration > Settings Manager.
The Settings Manager page opens. -
Do one of the following:

If you want the setting change to apply to all roles, verify the Role field is set to [Global Settings].

If you want the setting change to apply to a specific role, select it in the Role field.
A message asks you to verify that you want to change the role. Click OK to continue.Note: If the setting has already been changed for at least one role, its text label is bold and italic.

On the Modules tab, select Customer in the Module Selection field.

Click these tabs: Application Settings > Global.

In the Addresses and Phone Numbers section, make entries in these fields as needed.

Note: This field is present, but the feature is not operational in Trimble Web Products.
E-mail Send From Address
Source of the e-mail address that should appear in the return address field of sent messages
The options are:

Web Config.Email defined in Email.NoticeAccount
Use the e-mail address recorded in the application’s Release web.config file. -
Requesting Users Email Address (if found)
If the user who generated the event e-mail has an e-mail address recorded in his/her profile, use that address in the To line. If no address is on file, use the address recorded in the application’s web.config file.
eStat Support phone number
Phone number of the person who should be contacted about problems with Trimble Web Products
Note: This field is present, but the feature is not operational in Trimble Web Products.

Click Save.
A message appears at the top of the page, stating your settings were saved successfully.
If you are making changes for a specific role and this is the first time the setting has been changed for any role, the text label style changes to bold and italic.If you do not want to save, click Revert instead. The application cancels any unsaved changes and reverts to the last saved settings.
Identifying who in your company is notified when shipments are tendered
When your customers tender shipments, you will want someone in your company to know that you are receiving them. To identify who in your company will be notified about tendered shipments, use this procedure to record the e-mail address and phone number of the person to be contacted concerning shipments of Trimble Web Products.

Go to Menu > Configuration > Settings Manager.
The Settings Manager page opens. -
Do one of the following:

To enter multiple addresses, separate each with a comma.

Phone number of the person who should by contacted by Trimble Web Products about tendered shipments

Click Save.
