Recording commodity sub codes

When you have [Misc]MaintainCommoditySubCodes=Y in your TTS50, you can record commodity sub codes for a commodity.

To record a commodity sub code for each of a commodity’s seasonal blends used at a rack:

  1. Go to Tools > Profiles > Commodity Profiles to open the Commodity Profile window.

  2. In the Commodity ID field, enter the name of a commodity.

  3. To add a sub code at the end of the list, click Add.

  4. A blank row is added to the list. Make entries in these fields.

    Field Definition

    Sub Code

    Enter a unique ID code for the sub code. The field allows up to eight characters.

    Description

    Enter the name of the seasonal blend. The field allows up to 60 characters.

    Exclusive

    Select the checkbox if the sub code is an exclusive commodity.

    When a move has an exclusive commodity, no other commodity can be on the load.

  5. Repeat Steps 3-4 for each sub code you want to add.

  6. Click Save.

Removing commodity sub codes

To remove commodity sub codes from the Sub Codes tab:

  1. Go to Tools > Profiles > Commodity Profiles to open the Commodity Profile window.

  2. In the Commodity ID field, enter the name of the commodity that contains the sub code(s) you want to remove.

  3. Click the Sub Codes tab.

  4. Click on the commodity sub code you want to remove.

  5. Click Remove.

  6. Repeat Steps 3-4 for each sub code you want to remove.

  7. Click Save.
