Creating driver profiles

To create a Driver Profile:

  1. Go to Tools > Profiles > Driver Profile.
    The Driver Profile window opens. The Information tab is displayed by default.

  2. Click image2 New.

  3. Make entries on the Information tab as needed.

    For details on individual fields, see Information tab.

  4. When you are finished, click image3 Save.
    The system saves the driver profile.

Adding the E-mail field

By default, the E-mail field does not display on the Driver Profile window. You need to use the QuickDesigner feature to add this field.

  1. Trimble Transportation recommends adding this field to the Contact section.

  2. If your company uses TMW Go!, you need to add the E-mail field to the Driver Profile.

To add this field:

  1. In TMW Back Office, go to Tools > Profiles > Driver Profile.
    The Driver Profile window opens. The Information tab is displayed by default.

  2. Right-click in the body of the Driver Profile window.

  3. Click Toggle QuickDesigner.

  4. Position your cursor over the Contact section.
    When active, this section highlights green.

  5. Right-click and select Add New Item.
    The Add New Item window opens.

  6. Make these selections:

    • Control Type: Textbox

    • Field Group: bindingSource

    • Field: mpp_email

  7. Click OK.

  8. Position the label and field as needed.

  9. Rename the label.

    1. Right-click on the label.

    2. Select Show Preferences.
      The Field Preferences window opens.

    3. In the Text row, change the value to E-mail.

    4. Click OK.

  10. Right-click in the body of the Driver Profile window and select Toggle QuickDesigner.

  11. Save your layout.
