Introduction to TMW Back Office

TMW Back Office is the umbrella application under which you can seamlessly access:

  • Invoicing features
    Invoicing supports the creation and printing of freight bills and standalone invoices.

    Billing-related information flows automatically to Invoicing from Order Maintenance and Trip Folder in TMW Operations. The billing clerk can manually enter additional information at the time the invoice is prepared.

    The Invoicing application contains three primary windows:

    • Edit Invoice Folder
      This window is used to create and process invoices.

    • Print Invoices
      This window is used to retrieve and print multiple invoices in a batch.

    • Master Billing
      This window is used to view, edit, and print master bills and attached invoices.

  • Settlements features
    Settlements is used to calculate driver payment. Pay-related information, such as dispatch miles and shipment revenue, flows automatically from Order Maintenance, Trip Folder, and Invoicing to Settlements.

    The Settlement application contains two primary windows:

    • Trip Settlements Folder
      This window is used to record payment for a driver’s individual trips.

    • Final Settlements Folder
      This window is used to determine the driver’s final settlement amount for a pay period. The Final Settlements Folder lists all of the pay records that were released for a driver during a particular pay period.
