Before you create repair orders, you should set up the core items used with them.

Diagnostic Definitions |
Used to develop diagnostics for routine maintenance tasks You can create a standard set of diagnostics for a component code. Diagnostics can be at any of these levels:
To tailor a diagnostic definition to a specific correction code, you can select the applicable correction code. Diagnostic Definitions provide a way to type and track PM checklists or other information that may be tied directly to a component code. See Diagnostic Definitions for details. |
Job Code Definitions |
Used to establish baseline hours for activities The activity is made up of the component code and complaint code. Job Codes can be assigned to:

Pick List Definitions |
Used to set up a list of parts for a specific maintenance event You can also assign the list to a component code, unit ID, fleet description, unit type, and correction code. When a repair order is created for a unit that matches the assignment criteria, a pick list is displayed on the repair order. See Pick List Definitions for details. |
Standard Services |
Standard Services represent a repetitive charge. They reduce the time it takes to add repetitive charges to repair orders. Instead of typing the charge’s description on the repair order, you can select it from a list. See Standard Services for details. |
